  Experience the world's tallest memorial column, witness revolution in the Jessie Jones theater, discover our nation's past in the museum, walk the battlefield, and tour the historic Battleship Texas. See the past and enjoy the present.      Cost: $10.00 Bring a drink and sack lunch.

  Join us as we have a work day to make repairs and clean our church up. Watch for more details and lists of jobs that need to be done.

bulletAugust 19                9:00am          Port of Houston Boat Tour
  Get ready for an unforgettably spectacular waterborne tour of one of the busiest ports in the world aboard a 100 passenger boat with air-conditioned lounge. You will experience many exciting things on this-90-minute tour. We will stop for a picnic at a nearby park before returning home. Cost: $5.00 Bring a drink and sack lunch.

  The Family Tree will make the trip up to Old Town Spring and Puffabelly's for ACE Theatre's summer melodrama. The bus will leave Bayshore at 5:00pm We will have dinner at Puffabelly's. Cost is $15.00 plus the cost of your dinner. Remember to have some popcorn money.

  The Silver Saints will visit the IMAX Theatre and see "Grand Canyon". Naturally will be at Cleburnes. We hope to also visit the Holocaust Museum. The bus will leave the church at 10:00am. Cost will be $3.00 plus your lunch. The Holocaust Museum is free, but does welcome donations.

  Meet at East Harris County Activity Center
bulletAugust 26                                                    Bellvile, Texas
  The Ageless Roadrunners will visit the "Castle" in Bellville, Texas. This is the home of Mike Newman who not only has built the caste but a lot of the furniture. The castle has five 20 foot tall turrets, a water filled moat surrounding the structure, a look out tower that 35 feet tall and it all sits on 20 acres. It has taken nine years to build to this point. We will purchase box lunches from Newman's Bakery and enjoy them in the dining area of the castle. When we finish at the Castle we will return to Bellville and see some of the town. The bus will leave the church at 8:30am. Cost is $14.00 per person

  Meet in the gym at 6:30pm with food, games and friends.
bulletAugust 31                                                   Red Hat Ladies
  Join the Red Hat Ladies and guest for lunch following the morning service. They will meet at Tortilla's on Spencer.
bulletSeptember 6                                                   Liberty Opry
  The Ageless Roadrunners will visit the Liberty Opry for "Legends" night. We will have dinner before the show at the Cracker Barrel. The bus will leave the church at 3:45pm. Cost is $14.00 per person plus your dinner. VERY IMPORTANT: YOUR RESERVATION AND MONEY MUST BE TURNED IN TO GLENDA NOT LATER SUNDAY, AUGUST 24.

  The Family Tree will visit the Woodlands Marr for a day of people watching, shopping, eating or whatever. The bus will leave the church at 9:00am. Cost is $4.00 per person

  The Silver Saints will visit Minute Maid Park for the Astros--Atlanta game. The bus will leave the church at 4:30pm. Cost is $9.00 per person.

  Join the Red Hat Ladies and guest at Salt Grass in Kemah following the morning service.
